TRILENT Networks was founded with the mission to provide hardware and software development services for high-technology, networking, and telecommunications sectors. Many companies outsource non-essential product design to free their in-house engineering teams to focus on their core competencies and to reduce product time-to-market. Outsourcing made the development services the mainstay of our business.

In order to better serve our customer base, we supplemented our service offering with Intellectual Property – a range of pre-designed functional building blocks written in hardware description languages (HDL). Each of these HDL modules delivers a specific, self-contained functionality that can be integrated into a larger system for substantial savings in the product development cost and time.

In 2004, we released Trilent Mail Proxy, the first product in a new TRILENT™ line of cost-effective network security applications for Windows®. These software products provide networks administrators and users with robust security tools to help "harden" their networks and provide enhanced security in the face of increased Internet threats.

Our initial focus was on the small office/home office (SOHO) market. Being a small company ourselves, we could capitalize on our deep understanding of this market. This enabled us to develop products that meet the market’s unique security needs.

Small network users can no longer ignore the threats posed by malicious Internet software, as their networks became no less vulnerable to attacks than larger, more visible networks. Trilent products enable these users to enjoy the same levels of security and confidence as their counterparts at large, professionally managed networks.
