WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 1.4

The version 1.4 of the Trilent FTP Proxy includes many new features extending capabilities of the proxy.

In this version, the evaluation copy of the product is different from the purchased version. The minor differences are in the user interface (e.g. no "Purchase" button) and in licensing.
Customers who purchased an earlier version of the product can use their permanent registration key to unlock the new version (that applies to the purchased copy only).
A new instant license unlocks the evaluation copy.

The proxy now supports up to 60 concurrent FTP connections.
Added support for EPRT and EPSV commands (RFC2428).
Proxies can now be chained.
The proxy now works with Web browsers.
Client access to both the proxy and the reverse proxy is now be controlled by two separate access lists. The lists have been extended to 30 entries (networks).
Added a server deny list (black list) to control access to FTP servers. The list can have up to 250,000 entries.
The reverse proxy can now contact a second (standby) server when the primary server does not respond.
For passive connections, the reverse proxy now listens for data on the same port the FTP server does (i.e. it repeats the server data port). This feature supports effective filtering by a firewall.
Proxy now has four user-selectable logging levels (0-3). In the level 3, the proxy logs every FTP connection.

The user interface is completely redesigned to make it more intuitive and easier to use.
Added format validation for all configuration data entered by user.
Added a graphical black list editor to help create and maintain the new server deny list.
Hosts interface addresses can now be selected from drop-down lists of all interfaces detected on the computer.
For evaluation copy, you can now get a one-click instant evaluation license from within the configuration applet.
The proxy and the reverse proxy can now be disabled or enabled independently from each other. (Both proxies cannot be disabled at the same time.)
