Note: The mail proxy is implemented as a service.
The Windows 95/98/Me family of non-preemptive Microsoft operating systems that
are based on DOS does not support services.
Mail Protocol Support
The mail proxy passes both incoming and outgoing mail. All mail
clients and servers compliant with these protocols are supported.
Outgoing Mail:
- SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (RFC2821).
- ESMTP Service Extensions (RFC2554, 2034, 1985, 3463, 1846, 1652, 2852, 1870, 3461, 3030).
Note: RFC2920 (pipelining) is not supported. This is by design.

Concurrent Clients
The mail proxy is a multi-threaded program. It supports 30 concurrent mail client
connections in both directions (send and receive) without blocking.
Concurrent Servers
The mail proxy currently supports a single mail server.
